About Me

Throughout my career as an instructional designer and e-Learning developer in the corporate sector, I have actively engaged in a spectrum of projects, collaborating with various teams to deliver tailored learning solutions. These projects have showcased my versatility in addressing the unique needs of our organization. I have successfully crafted and implemented training programs that encompass a range of deliverables, including e-Learning modules, instructional videos, and job aids. My commitment to developing dynamic learning experiences allows me to contribute to the overall success and growth of our company through effective training initiatives. 

At my core, I am passionate about learning and assisting others in their learning journeys. My first experience with creating e-Learning materials was during the pandemic when I was facilitating virtual led instruction as a secondary math teacher. Realizing my enjoyment in crafting online learning experiences, I decided to pursue a full-time career in instructional design. Looking to dive deeper in the realm of online learning, I enrolled in Jill Davidian's Applied Instructional Design Academy. Here, I honed practical instructional design skills, creating interactive e-Learning samples aligned with business goals and adult learning principles, utilizing the ADDIE and SAM models.

I thrive on new learning, and enjoy acquiring new technical skills as I continue to grow in the field of instructional design. I keep myself updated on industry trends by actively participating in Articulate webinars and attending instructional design conferences. I've had the honor of both emceeing and producing for my company's virtual L&D conference. A few of the technical tools I use regularly include Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Camtasia, Vyond, Microsoft Suites, Nucleo, Watershed, Degreed, Zoom, Murf.ai, and ChatGPT.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, hiking, exploring events like live music and food festivals, reading, gaming, and relaxing with my rescue cat, Sioux.
